Hello my dear friends, I am all filled with the beautiful music of yesterday's concert near Barrie last night - Rodger Hodgson - former Supertramp co-founder and songwriter and lead singer for this said group - His voice is the same today as it was before.....how amazing is that (he is now 62 years old) - when I was a teenager I was a huge Supertramp fan. I remember listening to the 'Logical Song' forever......it also holds fond memories of a summer going for long walks with a dear friend of mine (1978) - I must admit I had a crush on this friend of mine then.......yet I was far to shy, to ever have admitted this to anyone at that time. - I even went to see a Zombie Movie with him......only to be scared for weeks afterwards - oh well....I guess, that's what you do for love ;)
Today I am not scared of Zombies anymore - I know, there are many of those around (the living dead) - and today I see a completely different scenario: it's those that live but are not really living, cause they haven't found Christ yet - they are so caught in their fears, that they live, yet are still spiritually dead.......and thus a slave to sin....but then again, these are the one's Jesus came to save - so there is HOPE EVERLASTING for all those living in bondage today.
But I wanted to write about this beautiful concert, how the music brought back fond memories and how the lyrics amazed me - I will have to listen to this music more frequently again.....it's beautiful.
If it is Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Supertramp, Gotthard, Rob Thomas, Train, Michael Jackson.....you name it: they are all inspired by the Great Spirit (Holy Spirit). When you listen to the bottom line of all the songs, they're all pointing to this all saturating Love of God, or to the Reunion/Union with your only true Love, the Desire to come Home, to reach Heaven......and this is why the Title of this blog is: Beautiful Voices all around.......God is everywhere, He is in everything - it is us, that make it good or bad, by our judgemental or critical spirit - if you listen attentively, and if you know your bible.....everything that is here on earth has been created by God - and there is a time for everything between birth and death, even war, strife and hatred - you name it. But there is also a time for peace, harmony and love - and also in Ecclesiastes, it is said, that nothing is new - all has happened before.
The only thing that's important, is that we obey the inspiration of the Holy Spirit - He will lead us HOME, back into the loving arms of our Father, who is in Heaven....... - and we will know His voice, when we focus our thoughts on what is pure and noble....
So, my friends, please stop judging your fellowmen, just because they're sinning differently than you - everybody here on Earth is trying to make his or her way HOME!!! Let's be patient with each other, just as Jesus is patient with us......
