The Harp - an amazing instrument......

God bless you - You are amazing in His sight, never forget that!!! He created you in His image, and we all have a Purpose!!!

Hello my dear friends, I am just in awe - yesterday I had my first harp lesson (so did my daughter) - I am simply amazed at the sound and vibration this instrument is able to bring forth. I think I fell in love with it right there and then...... - as you all know, I operate best with music, hear God speaking to me through music......yesterday I was deeply touched by the sound and vibration I was able to bring out in this amazing instrument. To me it represents, how God reaches out to us, by reaching out with His Love and Grace - which was shown to us in the most eloquent way through the life of Jesus, thus reviving us with His vibration of Love and Grace - and His life still is sending this vibration into the world.....just like the harp - thus touching all our hearts and reaching all of us, the more receptive ones maybe on a deeper level - but none of the vibration is lost. We all receive it and are changed for the better by it.

I believe God can use any instrument (using this as a metaphor for: He can use all of us, no matter, where we are in our journey - even evil and disaster can be used, to bring forth the vibration of love and understanding, of compassion and caring) - the drum, the flute, the piano, the violin......the harp. Through all of us flows God's love - we are vessels for His love, and even the most grim person shows love (to his/her dog, to a neighbour, to someone in their sphere of influence) - yes, I know, there is cruelty and crime and anger, hatred, envy and jealousy......yet in the heart of every single one of us, is the desire to be seen, to be accepted and to be loved - some people have just gotten a rough start......we have to, like the instruments in an orchestra or individually, let the vibration of love flow through us, to those in our sphere of influence - thus changing the world one heart at the time.......slowly bringing the Kingdom of God to the lost around us.

I sure am willing to be that instrument in the life of those I encounter - what about you? Now, with learning to play the harp, God gives me yet another tool, to reach out to others - my teacher encourages us, to give to others, by putting on a performance for people in need to be soothed by the sound of this marvellous instrument - and YES, I am willing to reach out and bring peace and relaxation to those that God will have me play to - mind you, this might still take a little while, but I will keep you posted, when I feel, or when my teacher thinks I could have a little gathering at my house or somewhere else, to bless others through my play.

Here is a challenge for you: How can you go out of your way and make a change for someone in your sphere of influence - how can you reach out and bring light into the life of someone, God brought into your life???
