Facing the Giants

God bless you - You are amazing in His sight, never forget that!!! He created you in His image, and we all have a Purpose!!!

Hello my friends, this is a lazy Saturday, I just took my daughter to her dance lessons - oh, how do I love weekends. Especially Saturdays, as I don't need to set an alarm. For the first day today, since I came back from Europe and the subsequent trip to California, I slept through the entire night - I take it, that I have finally made it back here completely. This is good news, as I found it so hard to be back home - with all the responsibilities and certain fears surfacing as well.....

As long as we're here on earth, we'll always face challenges, struggles, as the enemy of our soul will continue to try to lure us away from the solid promises of God and we are being strengthened by each one of them - so my friends, please don't be afraid of your struggles or challenges. God is always with you, just as He is always for you. Therefore, who could be against you - who could overthrow you??? His Angels have been given to watch over you - and His angels are in His presence all the time. So you are safe in His hands - never ever doubt that.

I had to be reminded that through my faith, my children are sanctified, and that He is walking alongside them ALL THE TIME!!! What I learned in the last little while, is that I have to be very clear with them, and be true to my word, so that they can see me, reflecting the character of God to them - that I will never give up on them, that I am stronger than any of their giants (challenges)......I also know, that they often times are mirroring my fears and anxieties......which means, I have to acknowledge their challenges as relevant and even investigate deeper, as to how far these challenges are mine as well, thus facing my giants, and by placing them at the feet of the cross, I am releasing us all from the burden of carrying them on our own little shoulders.

God has again come to my rescue, by blessing me immensely with His wisdom in how He wants me  to help my children to grow up into strong children of God. He is asking me again and again, to own my own crap, so that they only have to carry their own struggles, and by showing them, that I too make mistakes, but by constantly openly placing my concerns, worries and concerns before God, they will learn to do the same.

My deepest prayer today is, that we would all learn, that by facing the giants in our life, with Jesus by our side, and His Grace upon us, nothing is impossible - and actually looking our deepest fears square in the eye, trusting God, to deliver us from the lions den, we will reap our greatest blessings.

Be blessed my friends - I wish you an amazing weekend - I just love weekends :)

Amen
