Submission

God bless you - You are amazing in His sight, never forget that!!! He created you in His image, and we all have a Purpose!!!

Hello my dear friends.....just to give you a bit more information about a couple of things that transpired either today or over many years on the subject of submission:

God taught me so much over the last years, this is brand new (last night) - I was watching a segment  a wonderful woman of God, her name is Sheri Rose Shepherd, has done for her newest book/Bible Study - about submission and letting our men be the leaders of the ship......: when we stab them with a knife, each time we find something worth criticizing, we take away the authority, that has been given to them by God alone, to be the head of the household.......with that, they can't be the protector, we so much want them to be. We are literally stabbing ourselves in the back with our criticism of our men.....then we have to take the leadership role - but since this is not what our role is, we run ourselves dry - get grumpy and nagy and run on empty. From personal experience, I know that I am just not equipped to do the job - and I was never meant to do the job to start with - to me that's extremely freeing.

When I worked with the one, who I to this day call my true love, I had no issue submitting to his authority - whereas fighting men on their authority used to be my middle name - due to experiences of the past, I thought they were all out there to hurt me, so I had to question their authority in any way possible - and that's the dilemma we see so often in this world: We are all human beings with hurts and traumas, that cause us to react to certain situations a specific way, not at all being objective, cause we can only look at the situation through our own personal glasses/truth - until God shows up, and we learn to trust, that not everyone out there is trying to hurt us, or to take advantage of us....... - 

I guess, I just felt I could trust my?!? man beyond anything I would have considered possible before - any love can reach this potential, but it's easier, when it is with the one God handpicked for you.... TRUST is the key - don't get emotionally involved with anybody, that doesn't have your complete trust.... (just a little piece of advice on the side ;))

Then, God has shown me, that He truly in all things has my best interest at heart, and that helped me to trust again on a deeper level - and then: look at Jesus......, He came to die for me - so in Him I trust eternally.......now, when I let that sink in..... - we are called to love our husbands, like the Church loves Christ.......easy, isn't it - I mean, to love Christ that way, cause He died for us, that we might live and we might live more abundantly - Our man is called to love us, like Christ loved the church......laying His life down for us - that sounds okay for me......if I love/respect my man, like the church accepts the authority of Christ, and if he loves me, like Christ loved us..........all is good - for we do not submit to being a doormat, allowing a man to walk all over us, but we're the helpmate, the alter ego, we're equal in God's sight, but one has to lead, and that's the man, not the woman. And honestly, I don't think we want to lead anyway....society/the world has filled our heads with ego-driven messages, so we think we have to be self sufficient........ - but I can tell you, that God did not create us this way.

The reason why today the entire world/society is upside down, everybody is facing a crisis, we're all close to a burn out - is because we have tried to be self sufficient......handle life alone - not to adhere to the divine principles, given to us through God's word.....

My friends, I urge you, if you want your relationships to work (marriage, parent - child, boss - employer, friends) in any conflict, please address the king or the queen in the man or woman you're in conflict with - for we are all made in God's image......and we all have a purpose, handcrafted for us....and when we address the king or queen in the other, thus giving them the God ordained Dignity and Significance, I can promise you, that your relationships will be successful.

I am, just like you, still a work in progress, and sometimes I find it extremely hard to do that - also depending on the person I am with, but I sure am trying my best.......
